Boho Bejeweled

What happens when a group of glimmering girls meet for a glorious late summer day... The concept came together based on colors from a beautiful Jennafer Grace kimono that was in our personal closet from our favorite store Bad Madge. We fell in love with the combination of turquoise, fuchsia, and brown.
We contacted our other favorite at Ali&Joe and asked if they could make custom T's, sweatpants and sweatshirts and they were right in. We stopped at Bad Madge and found disco balls, vintage dresses, more Jennafer Grace and had a full look. When Stayce Stone jumped in to bejewel the faces, we knew the day would be magic!

The shoot was set at a favorite location Poway Park. The trees, lighting and fences were perfect for the shoot. We knew the editing would be moody yet colorful. The vibe at the shoot was so much fun.
We asked the girls in solo shots to hold the disco balls and think of them as a magic mystical ball that would reveal individual personalities.
What you see in the photos is just that.

Some of the standout pieces were the long kimonos from Jennafer Grace, the fringe custom sweatshirt from Ali&Joe and the fabulous vintage from Bad madge worn with cowboy boots. We wanted the concept to be cohesive but not too serious. Makeup artist Stayce mixed fun jewels with glimmering powder and liner and her makeup was icing on the beautiful boho cake. The shoot had picnic blankets, lots of laughter, tons of tiktoks made, and endless memories that we are super thankful for.
